Vintage Romantic Couple Portrait & Swan Scene Porcelain Lavabo Signed F Boucher. This is a beautiful Vintage Romantic Couple Portrait & Swan Scene Porcelain Lavabo Signed F Boucher. There are three porcelain pieces.

The lid measures 2 3/4" high x 3 3/4" wide x 1 3/4 in depth. The middle piece is 8 1/4" high x 8" wide and the bottom piece is 3 1/8" high x 9 1/2" wide x 3 1/2 in depth. This piece is a combination of transfer and hand painted. The beautiful Rococo style handles are applied and gold gilded. On the barrel underneath the man of the courting couple it is signed F.

Boucher 1759 in reverse from the transfer, which this piece used (transferred) one of F. François Boucher was a French painter, draughtsman and etcher, who worked in the Rococo style. Boucher is known for his idyllic and voluptuous paintings on classical themes, decorative allegories, and pastoral scenes. He was perhaps the most celebrated painter and decorative artist of the 18th century. Pristine clean, inside and out.

No chips, cracks, stains or repairs. Lavabo's are for filling the top portion with water and having a plat in the bottom piece. The spigot on the piece turns from left to right releasing the water onto the plant.
