PAIR OF ANTIQUE ORIENTAL BRASS VASES WITH DRAGONS. A lovely pair of heavy engraved Chinese brass vases, featuring sea dragons coiled around the necks of the vases. They represent the legend of the dragon chasing the pearl. They have a maker's or artist's stamp on the bases.

Age: Circa early 20th century. Condition: Very good condition, no damage to the dragons, as often is the case. One vase has a slightly distorted rim to the top, and the other a couple of tiny dings to top rim. Some tarnish spots remain here and there.

Weight: 1.7 kg (3.7 lb). Height: 19.5 cm (7 11/16in) approx.

Max diameter: 10.3 cm (4 1/16 in). Inner diameter of narrowest part of neck: 4.7 cm (1 7/8 in) approx. Weight: 2 kg (4.4 lb).
