This is a pair of antique, hand painted, Carl Thieme porcelain figurines. The figurines were made in Dresden, Germany and are in excellent condition. The man figurine is holding a book while seated in a chair. The woman figurine is holding an item in her right hand - not sure of its purpose. They measure between 5.5" and 6". They have no chips, cracks or repairs. The bottoms both have the Carl Thieme factory mark.
