SIBYL DUNLOP rare pair 1925 of signed, silver Arts and Crafts spoons- wonderful

  

They are fully hallmarked for London 1925 and both also have clearly stamped S. These would have been hand made by Dunlop herself just as her celebrity was rising. They are rare and beautiful hand made objects, carrying the maker's mark that all collectors like to see. Dunlop's pieces, especially signed pieces, are greatly in demand.

They have a very sinuous and organic design on the handle and I love that when you hold them and inspect them closely, you can see the variations in thicknesses of the silver used to formulate the design. You can see every punch of Dunlop's tools on the hammered silver bowl. These spoons are extremely tactile pieces of art from a very highly collected designer and jewellery maker. Such beautiful, hand crafted beauties, which could be displayed together for double the impact :.

They would make an incredibly special present for a lucky someone- a house warming gift, a wedding gift or even a christening gift...... They measure as a touch under 11cm in length by approx 2.4cm at their widest point.
