Set of 2 Vintage Paintings South America Peru Village Scenes Signed

  

This charming set of two vintage paintings show village scenes in possibly Peru or Ecuador of Latin America. The mountains can be seen in the distance as villagers go about their business in the streets.

Both paintings are signed in the lower right, but I haven't been able to make out the spelling. The paintings are on canvas. They measure 14" tall by 7 5/8" across including the handcrafted wooden frames.

The frames have been roughly done and have some gaps at the corners - but seem to add to the charm. The paintings are in great vintage condition. To see more original paintings.
