Rare Royal Vienna Trinket Dish Pair signed 1890s hand painted Ackermann & Fritze

  

This is a rare pair of matching Royal Vienna Trinket Dishes. In the centre of each plate is a beautiful hand painted horse scene. Painted by a master painter of this time, the images are utterly beautiful. Surrounding them is a delicate gilded floral spray that sits on the cobalt blue background.

Highlighted by a gilt edge on the scalloped delicate dishes. Hand painted and dating from somewhere rom 1850 to 1890s, they are signed with the Beehive - for Royal Vienna. The fine detail in the hand painted scenes of equestrian images are magnificent.

They are miniature exquisite paintings and unique and rare to have a pair. The dishes have identical measurements which are 2.5cm height, Length 15 cm and width 9 c m.
