Each piece is stamped with the WAS Benson hallmark, so these are originals, not copies. Each one is also stamped British Made. Benson was a leader in the Arts and Crafts metalwork movement, creating innovative and useful pieces of the highest quality. These cantilevered cannonball candle holders were iconic to Benson's style. These candle holders - with the WAS Benson hallmark - rarely become available.

These are solid, heavy pieces, with each candle holder weighing almost 5 lbs. Each piece measures about 13-1/2 long.

Condition is very fine estate condition, with some minor signs of use. One of the candle holders has a very small bend in the base which gives it a slight wobble.
