"Pair of Late 19th Century Japanese Satsuma Vases with Chrysanthemums & Birds". This exquisite pair of late 19th-century Japanese Satsuma vases features hand-painted chrysanthemum flowers and perched songbirds in stunning detail. Each vase is decorated with fine gold accents, a geometric border near the rim, and traditional crackle glaze throughout.

The bases display a red and gold rectangular cartouche with kanji marks, consistent with Meiji-period Satsuma ware. Hand-painted floral & bird design with vibrant color palette. Fine crackle glaze with detailed gilding. Marked on base with original Japanese signature. Materials: Porcelain/Ceramic with enamel and gold accents. Both vases are in excellent antique condition. Some minor wear to the gilt detailing and light crazing is visible, consistent with considerable age. No cracks, chips, or repairs noted.
