Pair of LaBarge wall mirrors, both retain original stickers, model #1482. Antiqued silver and gold gilt over carved wood frame and a large scale.
Frames were produced in Italy, these have lost the stickers indicating so but there are several other examples of these mirrors with'Made in Italy' stickers. Direct from local estate these look great with some minor imperfections, finish wear and touch up. See several photos, condition report and let me know if you have any questions. 43.75" tall, 26" at widest point, 24" wide at the bottom, about 1.5" thick.
There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, no loss etc. Frames are solid, in square, structurally sound, no water damage. Mirrors are free of chips or cracks as well, silvering looks solid, there are just a few small surface scratches on the glass (see last photo for example-subtle). The gilt finish is not 100% perfect, has minor touch up, scratches, bruises and imperfections but, it really does look nice in normal light at a normal distance. One frame has some touch up visible along the bottom edge just below the mirror. It wears the flaws very.
The antique finish is rather forgiving. There is moderate scuffs and scratches along the bottom edges, minor bottom/back corner wear.
These have a clean appearance and look great on the wall. Please refer to photos for the best description and send any questions you might have.
