Pair of framed Georgian white biscuit or Parian porcelain silhouette or cameo type plaques in the original frames. The portraits are white bisque and they are set on a blue papered background that imitates Wedgwood jasper ware.
Each is signed under the shoulder and dated Feb 7th (I think) 1817. Overall the frames measure 9 1/8" by 9 3/8". I cannot for the life of me decipher the artist name so if anyone recognizes it I would love to know! There are a couple of worm holes at the very bottom of the frame on the Lady.
