Pair of Art Deco Wall Pocket Sconces, Pate de Verre Signed 1920s, Muller Frères. A superbly stylish pair of French Art Deco, tbc.. Signed pate de verre glass wall pocket sconces, each measuring 24cm wide, circa 1920s.
The hand made orange ground with traces of blue and yellow decoration is consistent with Muller Frères Art Deco lighting, 1 of the wall pockets is signed Axel, which is a signature more familiar to Val St Lambert, a Belgian glass maker of the same period. A striking pair of antique wall pocket sconces of both practical use and considerable decorative appeal, interior design wall art and/or lighting that can enhance a classic or contemporary space.
Please note, 1 sconce has a small crack to the top edge, featured in photos, it is minimal but obliged to mention it and priced to reflect. Each glass pocket is connected at each end with a brass rod, this allows ease of fixing to a wall. Please request more photos and any questions invited.
