Pair of Antique Steuben Blue Aurene Candlesticks, 11.875 Inches High, Signed
Description and Condition: Here's a pair of 12 inch blue aurene Steuben candlesticks, made ca, 1920s. They are correctly marked as shown on the bottoms with aurene and the Steuben shape number 686. One stick is even marked with Steuben's acid stamp -- see the last photo.
These candlesticks are in very good used condition. There are NO chips, cracks or repairs.
However, the candlecups have wear to the aurene finish from years of mounting candles and cleaning -- see photos four, five and six. This does not detract from the viewing, in my opinion. I will gladly do my best to provide you with any needed information, including more photos.
Happy, satisfied customers are my goal. Final Comment: These tall aurene candlesticks are a must have for any serious collection Steuben glass.
They don't appear often in the market. Reasonable offers will be considered. But please don't poison the well with half price offers.
