Pair Of Antique Bronze Statue Signed Guillaume/ France C. 1910/ Silvered/ Music

  

Pair of antique silvered bronze musicians statues. This is a very pretty PAIR of antique bronze sculpture, depicting 2 knights playing music, wearing 18 century dresses, feathers hats, swords. Every single millimeter in the statue is very very well decorated, and both are singing (open mouth)... Very EXPRESSIVE work of art. I unscrewed each one from its base, clean it and wax it (to preserve it from oxidation).

One is signed on the round base Guillaume (please see photo), and both are stamped from underneath the base L. M, probably the foundry mark(please see photo). Emile Oscar Guillaume, French sculpture (1867- 1942). I believe the one who is playing violent (left hand), is missing the violent stick in his right hand (not very noticeable). H : 6 1/2 inches (16 cm). W : 5 inches (13 cm) the one with the mandolin. W : 4 1/2 inches (11 cm) the one with the violent. Minor scratches due to age.
