Pair of antique Baccarat candle holder / candlestick. France, circa 1940 (or earlier).

This is a PRETTY PAIR of antique Baccarat candle holder, signed and stamped by the famous French glassmaker Baccarat (high relief mark). Baccarat made a perfect marriage between crystal and light for over 2 centuries.

Art Deco taste and style. The very unusual in this pair is the metal (silver) joints give more luxury to the piece. Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the work. H : 9 inches (23 cm).

Diameter at the base : 5 inches (13 cm). Weight : 4 lbs(1.8 kgs) for the pair. No chips, cracks or any damage. Both are stamped underneath " Baccarat " in relief (see photos). Typical scratches consistent with age and use.

Tiny chip at the opening rim, where the candle meet the crystal (see last photo). Clean and ready to be placed.
