Pair Freres ormolu Hand Painted signed Petit Garniature urn porcelain raise gold

A genuine item through age and time, dating to Circa Early 1800's, there is no Backstamps visible, however both items are signed Jacob Petit / Polit & there is an impressed "Freres"Mark to bronze. This Matching pair has one major issue, the female has been heat treated inside to stop the 2 hairlines from further splitting the urn in half, its still 1 solid piece and nothings loose. There has been restoration attempts to female ONLY.

The male is totally original. The ormolu has no damage. Crazing is evident all over the hard paste porcelain due to age please bear in mind this pair is about 200 years old its almost un believable, how this has survived with the minimal issues mentioned, The gold gilding and highlights have tiny nicks here and there, the raised effect is still incredible, and feels well to touch. A totally amazing hand signed pair.
