These exquisite French antique piano candle sconces, crafted from luxurious bronze and originating from the late 1800s. These sconces bear the distinguished marker's stamp "L Pinet, " Each sconce is also adorned with the enigmatic number "33, " hinting at a unique provenance or design lineage that adds to their allure. The backplates are thoughtfully shaped and adorned with a delicate interplay of floral motifs, delicate fans, and finely detailed leaves. From the backplate come the detailed scrolled acanthus leaf arms which lead to decorative raised candle drip holders. These sconces would have been fixed onto the sides of a piano or organ with candles lit to aid the players light, they can be adjusted easily by opening or closing the arms to suit. Whether placed in a luxurious living space, dining area or hallway these fabulous candle sconces would add a touch of French luxurious period charm to any home decoration.
