Difficult to photograph for some reason, what looks like a chalky white finish is actually old oxidized silver paint. The silver is old and quite mellowed but probably not original. It is perhaps radiator paint but more likely powdered metal suspended in varnish or shellac. It was definitely brushed, not sprayed. The tramp pyramids are five layers tall and perfectly notched.

There are no damages or losses, just a little scuffing which, after all these years, is to be expected. I would call them in excellent condition. Some of the tiny particles of metal powder found their way onto both sides of the glass.

I have painstakingly removed them from the front with razor blades but I can't clean them from the back. The frames are nailed shut, their contents have never been removed or changed, so to clean the inside you'll have to pull the nails and take off the back board. Not hard to do but only worth the effort if to put your own pictures in. They both have their original brass ring hangers. There is a half-visible name at the bottom of one. Their sight sizes are 3 5/8 x 2 1/4. This last year two crazy and unreasonable buyers ruined my spotless record. You can trust that I sell honestly, respond quickly and pack everything to arrive as sent.
