Here is a pair of original English 1816 stone lithographs of Napoleon that are hand colored, matted and. Framed (probably in the 1960's). In excellent condition, particularly as they are over 200.
They were engraved on limestone, hand printed on paper and then hand colored. Bowyer of Pall Mall, London.The first engraving shows the "Grand Entry of the Allied Sovereigns into Paris, March 1814". The second engraving shows "Waterloo - Conveying the French Cannon from the Field of Battle 1815".
The frames are about 17" x 22" and the sight size is 10 1/2" x 13 1/2". These were owned by an old friend of mine who had a large Napoleon collection.
