Pair Antique Paintings STYLE OF Jean Antoine Watteau Serenade Romantic Scene

  

The paintings painted on tick paperboard measurements are. 5 1/4" by 6 1/4" painting. 8" by 9" with the frame. Both paintings are signed - can't reed the signature. Beautifully painted, thought better than by the original artist.

The paintings are in very good condition, the frames has some looses, please look at the pictures carefully. The delightful subject of the painting is a courting couple in a rugged country landscape with a large chateau in the background. The couple are seated in period costumes, while the gentleman serenades the lady.
