Pair Meiji period's Satsuma vases, having a dark blue glaze ground beautifully hand decorated in gilt moriage style, with hand painted mirrored decoration depicting geishas and flowers. One is signed Gonkozan, the other one is unmarked. Both in good conditions, with minor age related wear to the gilding, in one there is a small chip to the top, not very noticeable. Diameter at the top: 5.5cm.
