Pair Antique Glazed Pottery Handmade Foo Dogs

  
Offered is a pair of antique glazed pottery foo dogs. There is a stamped mark on the bottom of the female that looks like English letters but I just can't make it out. I have only seen one other pair like this in a store a few years ago.

Sorry, but I don't know much about them. If anyone is familiar with these pieces, please let me know and I will post the information. Offered are a pair of antique foo dogs with a glazed potter. The male stands 1" tall, 8 1/2" wide with a depth of about 3 1/4.

The female is slighter shorter at 9 1/2" , 8 12" wide with a depth of 3 1/4. The male's foot is on a ball and the female's is on a cub. The white spot on the cobalt glaze base is not a chip but a small glaze miss. Please see the pictures and feel free to ask any questions.
