One backing retains the gallery label William A Gibbs of New Bedford Mass. Both essentially fine all original condition, frames have some edge wear and mattes have no stains but slight age toning - see my 12 detailed photos. The watercolors used are a thicker type, almost like gouache. These are quite typical of the style often used by the artist. Pauline Colyar (1873 - 1928).
