Pair Antique Baccarat Candlestick Lustres With Storm Shades. Signed. 1900 Superb

  
Very fine quality pair of glass candlestick lustres made by Baccarat circa 1900. Octagonal base with hexagonal diamond stud work on the main columns. 12 cut glass lustres hang from an upturned lobed glass dish and finally a brass candle holder enclosed by a tulip shape glass top.

The storm shades have eight petal shaped facets on top and are acid etched all over with a splendid Art Nouveau design of leaves and flowers and swirling tendrils - with a brass collar to the base. Candlesticks alone measure 31 cms high - and with the storm shades in an impressive 55 cms. Both sticks in excellent original antique condition - both storm shades have a couple of minute little flea bites on top which are barely noticeable - please see close up photos. Both candlesticks signed BACCARAT in raised script underneath.

All in all a superb sparkling crystal pair and a real visual treat to the eye. Size - 55 x 14.5 cms. Weight - 4.25 kgs.
