Matched Pair of Antique Hand Painted Rosenthal Vases Artist Signed 1918

  
Very nice pair of Rosenthal vases that I believe were painted during the China Painting Craze. The vases are artistically executed by a trained eye with the soft green ground, one bird in flight, one bird perched on an apple blossom limb completed with a butterfly in the background. Both are signed on the underside A. The vases stand approximately 7 1/2" tall x 2 3/4" diameter at the shoulders x 1 3/4 diameter at the base.

Both are in very good condition with one being free of chips, cracks, or crazing. The other has a small flake or chip on the underside lip of the vase - please see photo. Barely seen but is there.
