WILDER Vintage Pair of Antique Bronzed Metal "INFANT GIRL" BOOKENDS (Signed) USA. Here we have a pair of beautiful Art Deco styled antiqued bronzed metal "INFANT GIRL" BOOKENDS by Loise Hibbard Wilder dating back to the 1920's from the sidewalks of New York City after becoming deaf at an early age. 7 5/8" high x 2 5/8" base wide x 2 3/4 base long. Both are in very good maintained (displayed/used) condition commensurate with their age minor stress crack on one of the girls bottom outside foot, not offensive, see close-up photo #8. The rear base sides are emboss marked, LOISE WILDER.
Both have their original bottom green felt protector pads, made either at Roman Works/Brook Art Bronze Co. Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1929. Or so for the packing box and packing material.
