LARGE Pair of Antique Japanese Kutani vases Meiji SIGNED. FABULOUS PAIR OF LARGE JAPANESE PORCELAIN. KUTANI VASES HAND PAINTED WITH EXOTIC BIRDS. APPROXIMATELY 30.2 cm (11 7/8 inches) IN HEIGHT. TOTAL WEIGHT = 2566 grams. Overall condition is very good. One vase has three short, very faint hairlines to the top rim (approximately 1 cm, 1.5 cm & 1.5 cm in length - see photograph with arrows) - these can only be seen from the outside with a very powerful magnifying glass.

This vase also rocks slightly - as these vases are hand made this is not that unusual. Both vases have some typical very minor wear to gilding/enamelling from age and use.
