French Antique ART DECO Bookends Spelter Bronzed Deer Signed Marble Base Pair. A great pair of French Art Deco bookends on a marble base. They depict a sweet image of a deer watching a snail. They have two different colors of patina and are made of spelter. One of the bases is signed in the marble with'H. They stand on a black marble (grey and brownish veined) base. They were made around the 1930's, in France. Height: about 5 3/4 inch / 14.5 cm. Width base: about 6 1/4 / 16 cm. Some minimal wear to the patina of the spelter minimal surface wear on the marble bases, see the photos for details. We are based in France and offer a lot of European antique and vintage items.
