This pair of antique Chinese porcelain roosters, are hand-painted with a beautiful Famille design, is a true gem for collectors. Its provenance is not available, but it is certain that it was made in China with exquisite attention to detail. The rooster is a symbol of good luck and strength in Chinese culture, making it a valuable addition to any collection. The intricate design of the rooster's feathers and multi-color palette, make this piece a true work of art. It is perfect for display on a shelf or as a centerpiece on a table, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to any room.
This collectible is a must-have for anyone interested in Asian culture and the history of Chinese art. The larger rooster has a white spot on the right side of its back feathers that I added to the last two photos. Looking at it closely it looks like a bit of the paint has come off the porcelain but is not a chip on the porcelain. The second smaller rooster has some missing porcelain on the base (about 1/2) which I have also captured in the last two photos.
