Antique PAIR of 1930's Japanese CRACKLE GLAZE vases Signed on Base

  
This exquisite pair of Japanese vases is a true antique gem. The intricate crackle glaze design on the porcelain/pottery material adds to the beauty and charm of these vases. Originating from Japan, these vases are a perfect addition to any collection of Asian/Oriental antiques. These vases are ornately decorated with plenty of gold highlighting.

Typical of this style of decoration, the images are very much just outlines. Front and back panels are separated by floral decoration in brown, burgundy and gold, with a green outline, and each panel tells a story.

The top of each vase has green bunting style decoration around the rim and this is repeated at the base. These vases are a rare find and are sure to be a conversation starter in any home or office.

One of the vases has had a number of repairs. Due to the crackle style and the excellent repair, the impact is minimal.
