Antique Pair Italian 18th / 19th Century Floral Bouquet Oil Paintings (Signed)

  
I have for sale an antique matching pair of smaller floral oil paintings. The one still has 90% of the writing, while the other has roughly 1/2. So, initially I assumed they were probably German, but I do believe they are Italian. I tried to search the name of the artist, but I could not come up with anything. They also appear to be oil on paper.

The oil paintings are almost identical. The coloring of the flowers is slightly different. As you can see from the photos these pieces go well into the 19th century and are possibly even 18th. Both the paintings and the frames are in good to very good condition. The one has a mark, where the paint is faint, to the right of the signed name.

The paintings come in hand carved frames that still have all the gilt paint. Size: 5.25" x 4.5" (Frame) 3.5" x 2.75" (Painting).
