A stunning pair of antique French bronze fireplace kerb chenets. They are mid to late 19th century, in good undamaged condition. They bear the mark of famous Parisian bronzier Charles Casier. Casier and his signature of intertwined Cs.

They also have the number'290' (probably the design number). They have light wear / marks commensurate with their age.

They've not been cleaned, we've left the patina just as found. The screw / nut on one chenet is loose and needs tightening. Height = 14 (36 cm).

Width = 11 (28 cm). Depth = 5 (12.5 cm).
