Antique French Bronze Candelabra Pair (2), Signed F. From the finest resource for bronze, you'll see the name F. Barbedienne noted on many of the very finest artist and artisan bronze casts in museum collections. Barbeddienne is the foundry, itself, and they did have on site artisans creating works for public offering. This fine 19th century pair of 13.5 tall candelabra (3 candles each one - 6 in total) are fabulous decorator items for mantel or tabletop use. The base is all that isn't heavy solid bronze, and it's a heavy brass with the bronze finish.

Very good to excellent condition from patina to form. I see some little tarnish on the underside of the base, but really not much at all of anything to report otherwise. I can see my photographer hadn't straightened them yet in one photo, then did in the others.

There is a loose bobeche in each one, by the way, and those remove to anchor and set candles more easily. They don't have much of a lip for drip, however. But they are there and my photographer missed removing them for a photo. Measurements are noted on images, but they're each 13.5 tall, hold standard table candles.
