Antique Adolphe Weisz Couple Marriage WithC Painting

  

It depicts a couple paying a visit to the priest with a gift of a turkey in a basket. The priest is seated and writing at his desk with a quill pen. It is in very good condition and is signed "A Weisz Paris" lower right. It measures 20" by 14" sight size and is in the original ornate carved painted and gilt wood frame that measures 32" by 25".

There is a plaque at the bottom of the frame with the artist's name and date but the date is incorrect. This is a beautiful painting and frame!
