ANTIQUE 1900 PAIR of Gas/Electric Combo Wall Fixtures / Sconces rewired, all brass, acid etched shades. A RARE matching pair of gas and electric combination wall fixtures in outstanding condition and beautiful acid etched shades. These fixtures are restored to their original beauty and I estimate they were manufactured from the 1890s to the early 1900s. Each fixture has the Bradley and Hubbard makers mark in brass on the inside of each back plate. The shades are in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or scratches, only some inner fitter roughness from the manufacturing process.

They are acid etched with an intricate stylized floral pattern. There is a bonus electric shade that does have a small crack at the fitter edge but does not affect the integrity of the shade.

It is ALWAYS nice to have a spare! The fixtures have been polished, but not lacquered.

This will allow you to lacquer them, so they keep their current shine, or install them, wipe off the fingerprints and let them regain a nice patina over time. The fixtures retain their original General Electric paddle turn key sockets and original electric and gas fitters all with rosette set screws. The gas sections have not been wired, but instead outfitted with a small glass tea light oil candle that rests on a brass cup. This provides that authentic gaslight look without running gas lines to the fixtures! The gas valve is still intact for those of you who want to run a gas line and have the ability to ensure that it is installed correctly and approved for use.
