Nice light-yellow color with green, brown & black ornamental rim & hand-painted images in the middle. Pie hexagram with ruffled edge plate made in circa 1900s and colored by Thomas Rowlandson. Illustrating popular in Victorian period William Combe comics scene Dr. Syntax pursued by a bull. Syntax in search of the Picturesque.
