By Henry Crowther (19th/20th century British Dog Painter) - early study of the breed in art. Fine 1929 English portrait of a pair of Airedale terriers in a landscape, oil on canvas by Henry Crowther. Excellent early depiction of the breed by one of the most prolific dog and animal painters during the period. Would have been privately commissioned by the dogs owners.
