Each is signed lower left by the artist with an indistinct monogrammed and dated 1897. An interesting very well painted pair of watercolours that will benefit research.

They both measure 4.75" by 6.8" inches, and are housed within gilt card mounts behind glass in matching gilt frames measuring 10.8" by 13.6" inches. The paintings are on age toned paper. The frames are age tarnished with ingrained dirt and worn gilt with small chips and marks, one of the frames is missing the wooden backing slats.
