Pair Signed Antique Japanese or Chinese Tokoname Pottery Dragon Bottle Vases. A handsome pair of antique bottle vases, believed to be Japanese Tokoname ware but with an unusual Chinese style mark. Redware / Terracotta pottery decorated in relieve with encircling three-toed dragon among clouds; each vase being slightly different. Dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. Acquired directly from an old estate; no further provenance information.
Unknown chinese style reign/maker's mark to bases. Both pieces remain in extremely good condition with no damage or restoration. Web search "Luxford Vintage" for more unique items.
