FREE PICK-UP IN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA. Up for your consideration is a superb pair of mid-19th C. Bronze sculptures depicting a young male and female harvester, c. The sculptures measure 15" tall, 7" wide, and 16.5 tall (including the sienna marble base).
The sculpture are very heavy for their size, weighing about 16 lbs. They are meticulously cast, with hand-chased accents throughout. One of the sculptures is marked "De La Vigne, " or D.Both sculptures are in excellent condition, showing age-typical wear to the patina, but no other concerns. One of the marble bases has 3 small chips to the very bottom (as shown in the photos), the other is fine. This quote is for the Continental U. Only, and the item will be sent via UPS.
