Pair Antique French Louis XV Rococo Figural Table Lamps Signed Moreau
Heres a Pair of Old French Table Lamps Signed Moreau. The lamps are made of Spelter and have marble at the bases.
There is wear to the finishes in various areas - I tried to show the most noteworthy areas. One has two shallow dents (pictures 7 and 8). There are a few chips to the marble, the worst is shown in pictures 4 and 5. Due to all the veining in the marble, I dont think any of the chips really would be noticed. The Lamps work but one switch is not operating properly.
Based on the age, both lamps should be totally re-wired. There are no finials, and overall the lamps need tightening as the various components are a bit loose. They are direct from an Estate and need overall cleaning. The height to the top of the statue portion is approximately 17 and 1/4 and the overall height to where the finials would attach is about 32.
