Both are signed Colyar lower corner and I guarantee these are genuine authentic Pauline Meyer Colyar. The original wooden frames measure 6 5/8" x 12 3/8" and 6 5/8" x 12 3/8"; the visible artwork alone is 2 5/8" x 8 5/8".

One backing retains the gallery label William A Gibbs of New Bedford Mass. Both essentially fine all original condition, frames have some edge wear and mattes have no stains but slight age toning - see my 12 detailed photos. The watercolors used are a thicker type, almost like gouache. These are quite typical of the style often used by the artist. Pauline Colyar (1873 - 1928).
