Considering Wright admitted his furniture was often uncomfortable, these chairs being designed for a Theater are actually, very comfortable as a work chair - both chairs retain thier original orange wool fabric - The chairs were removed from the theater during a late century renovation of the Humpreys , and altered with a Tailesen Approved steel base to stand alone - This pair have been allowed-to patina at base structure - One of the chairs is signed with a embossed Formica placard that beers the Theater Insignia, and the name of donor.
