Ginbari = Clear Enamel over Silver Layer on a Copper Body. BASSE TAILLE = low relief metal base (with handcarved or repousse designs) which has been enameled with clear hues - created so the stunning low relief designs show through. Showa Period = Early to Mid 20th Century. 7.25" high and 3.75" across. Both are Signed with a Symbol and say SATO.

There is NO RESERVE on this astoundingly intoxicating, elegantly and skillfully hand crafted vase pair with a glorious profusion of sweet blossoms and electrifying designs. Rich, glowing enamel colors include pigeon blood red, soft green, sweet rose, pretty pink, forest green, white and other outstanding hues.

Carefully and intricately created designs are truly outstanding and unbelievably unique. Distinctive and innovative cloisonne inlay techniques give this vase incredible depth and beauty. Like magnificent museum paintings, these astonishingly superb vases are adorned with incredible scenes. This lovely vase pair is in very good condition with natural rich patina on the silver rims, natural textural effects on the rims, natural textural marks, etc. Where the interior of the rims meet the cloisonne and other natural effects which are all original to the pieces.
