ANTIQUE SEVRES FRANCE Gilded Ormolu Signed PAIR PORCELAIN URNS VASES. A beautiful pair of Sevres porcelain Urns or Vases that were made in France, circa 1880. These vases are pink with handpainted portraits of a man on one and a woman on the other.
The man is holding a bouquet of flowers behind his back and a bird is sitting on the woman's hand a dove? Both portraits are signed the same but I can't figure out what the letters are (see photo). Both vases have gilded ormolu and raised gold decorations. They each measure approximately 7 1/2 high and are in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, or flakes to the porcelain and no missing ormolu.
There is some wear to the gold paint (see photos), but that's it! Everything looks beautiful on this rare pair of Artist signed French Vases! They will certainly compliment any room or collection!
