Best antique large pair of Foo Dog Guardian Lion sculptures found. Measures 14 inches tall x 7 inches x 6 inches. Carved hair curls, protruding eyes, curled tongues, pierced draped bases.

All one piece; signed & numbered on the underside. One is holding a baby Foo Dog, highly detailed. The other stands with a carved ball that moves up & down on the post. Behind each & attached is a tall hollow incense burner stand or vase flower holder.

The amazing pair came with one antique carved rosewood stand. The stand measures 5.75 inches x 4 1/8 inches with interlocking rings & paneled legs. The pair of Qing Dynasty sculptures are perfect - no cracks, dings, chips or repairs. These are substantial - they weigh 18 pounds unpacked. Estate find - unknown age and origin.
