Antique Moroccan Fibula Pair Etched Silver W Enamel Hand Cut Glass Museum Qualit
This is a gorgeous and massive pair of Antique silver fibulas or pen-annular brooches from the Anti-Atlas region of Southern Morocco. All original, complete with the chain linkage and in stunning condition. The fibulae feature enameled color of green, gold and red, as well as brilliant hand cut glass cabochons in red and green. Intricately etched designs and wormhole detail adorn the silver. This is an impressive pair and extremely rare. The silver is likely old Berber silver which is an alloy with nickel and lead, the purity of which is like coin silver. They measure 26 cm tall by 16 cm wide.
Or 10 inches by 6.5 inches. The chain is 67 cm long. Features etched detail on each end cap.
