The representation of the woman is quite charming, and the man very ugly. They are in solid walnut wood, panel hand carved. They date from the beginning1900s. These panel are finely hand carved from walnut with good detail and finished.

The sculpture has a lot of relief. They bear the signature of the sculptor who made them Michel. Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description. They are in very good antique condition-straight and solid with the usual amount of nicks and scratches from their many years of gentle use.
